Full Job Description
We're looking for a Project Reporting & Data Analyst who is passionate about transforming complex data into actionable information. This is an exciting opportunity to support large-scale infrastructure and capital projects while partnering with project controls and managers, financial stakeholders, and operations teams to improve visibility, performance, and decision-making.

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing project reporting solutions that help monitor project health, performance trends, cost metrics, schedules, and key operational indicators. You'll play a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, conducting compliance reviews, validating reporting data, and delivering insights that enable successful project delivery.

This is a Hybrid role in the eastern Massachusetts area.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance project reporting solutions to monitor project performance, health, costs, schedules, and key business metrics.
  • Build, manage, and continuously improve Power BI dashboards and data visualization tools used by project teams and leadership.
  • Analyze project cost, schedule, and performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Validate data sources and perform quality assurance reviews to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and data audits to support governance requirements and reporting standards.
  • Transform complex datasets into meaningful reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and develop effective analytics solutions.
  • Support forecasting, performance measurement, and operational reporting initiatives.
  • Assist leadership in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and project performance metrics.
  • Help automate reporting processes and improve reporting efficiency through innovative data solutions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Project Management, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in data analytics, project reporting, project controls, finance, business analysis, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Power BI experience with the demonstrated ability to build, maintain, enhance, and support Power BI dashboards and reports. This is a required qualification.
  • Strong experience developing dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
  • Experience validating data and conducting quality assurance reviews.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and data analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights within large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting project controls, capital projects, construction, infrastructure, utility, engineering, or consulting environments.
  • Knowledge of project performance reporting, forecasting, cost analysis, or schedule analysis.

Benefits & Salary:
  • This position pays between $85,000 and $110,000 annually and is an exempt position.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
