Location: Irving, TX (On-Site Full Time)
Pay Rate: $58-$61/hour
Duration: 18 months
Start Date: June 22, 2026
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST

Position Summary
Caterpillar is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager IT 4 to serve as a Product Owner, acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders, architecture teams, and Agile development teams. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into actionable Epics and Features, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful delivery through Scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document requirements
  • Translate business needs into Epics and Features for Agile development teams
  • Collaborate closely with architecture teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment
  • Lead decomposition efforts from business concepts through architecture into Scrum execution
  • Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams, including senior leadership
  • Develop and deliver program updates, presentations, and status reports
  • Drive alignment and execution across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Typical Work Environment
  • On-site role based in Irving, TX

  • No direct reports; operates as an individual contributor

Qualifications

Required
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project or program management
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Proven experience in a Product Owner or similar role
  • Expertise with Confluence and Azure DevOps (Jira not applicable)
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present in virtual and in-person settings
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and leadership abilities

Preferred
  • Experience with Power BI for reporting and analytics
