Job Overview
We are seeking a Project Procurement Specialistto join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a Project Procurement Specialist, you will join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client's ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located in our Chicago, IL office and could have potential to be hybrid depending on the specific client, project and team needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop procurement process development and Deltek Vantagepoint configuration of a formal PR/PO workflow by setting up templates, approval workflows and project-based purchasing controls
  • Review and validate purchase requisitions for budget availability, proper coding to project, phase, and task as well as ensure requisitions align to client contracts, budget project and internal procurement policies
  • Set up process to convert approved requisitions into compliant purchase orders, issue POs to vendors while maintaining proper document and PO log within Vantagepoint
  • Vendor Coordination and Management by maintaining vendor master data, including w-9's, insurance certificates while performing 3-way matching with purchase order, vendor invoice and receipt/confirmation of goods/services. This role supports Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Develop procurement dashboards and reporting to assess open Pos, spend by project/vendor and approval cycle times
  • Assist in training staff on the PR/PO process and system usage
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, Business, Pre-Law, Liberal Arts
  • 3-5 Years of Business Experience, leading design and implementation of system projects and workflows between business and IT
  • Reviewing documents, contracts, or project operations experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills
  • Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
  • Cross-functional collaboration with team members
  • Have great organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree(s)
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint
  • Project Management Experience

Salary Range: $89,440-114,400, Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
