Job Description Summary
The Project Procurement Senior Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing Project Procurement organization supporting a multi-billion-dollar project business. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for all project procurement activities across the region, ensuring execution excellence from order placement through project completion while delivering best-in-class performance in safety, quality, schedule, cost, cash flow, and customer satisfaction.

Leading an organization of approximately 30 procurement professionals through a team of Procurement Team Leaders, this position is accountable for developing organizational capability, driving operational excellence, establishing procurement governance, strengthening supplier performance, and enabling successful execution of an expanding portfolio of complex EPC projects.

The role partners closely with executive business leaders, Project Management, Engineering, Global Sourcing, Quality, Finance, Planning, Construction, Logistics, Legal, and Commercial teams ensure procurement remains a strategic competitive advantage for the business.

Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute the regional Project Procurement strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Lead the evolution of the Project Procurement organization to support increasing business complexity and future growth.
  • Build a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Translate business strategy into organizational priorities and measurable performance objectives.
  • Drive continuous transformation of procurement processes, systems, governance, and organizational capabilities.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing organization of approximately 30 procurement professionals through multiple Team Leaders.

Provide overall leadership for procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle including:

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management, or EPC execution.
  • Minimum 8 years leading large procurement organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading managers and developing leadership teams.
  • Experience supporting large-scale industrial, infrastructure, energy, or EPC projects.
  • Experience operating within a complex global matrix organization.
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Fluent English. French is a plus.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Excellent excel and ppt skills. Power BI is a plus


Preferred
  • MBA or Master's Degree.
  • CPSM, CIPS, PMP, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience with SAP and digital procurement platforms.
  • International project procurement experience.
  • Experience managing organizations of 20+ procurement professionals.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage electrical equipment, EPC execution, construction, logistics, and supplier quality.

For Canada:

Base Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $151,000.00 CAD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. Healthcare benefits include medical, dental, and vision.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $119,700.00 and $199,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
