Project Procurement Professional - Construction Projects Siemens Real Estate (SRE) is seeking a highly motivated Project Procurement Professional to support new construction, renovation, expansion, and infrastructure projects across the United States and Canada.
Siemens Real Estate is the real estate service provider at Siemens and has overall responsibility for the group's real estate business. We manage the portfolio and operate the buildings, including all services relating to real estate. We are responsible for real estate disposal and manage all construction projects throughout Siemens, thus ensuring that the use of resources is optimized and sustainable in terms of costs, transparency, and efficiency at over 2500 locations worldwide.
This remote position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of Siemens Real Estate projects, partnering with project teams from concept development through construction and operational handover. You will support a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from small office renovations and workplace improvements to large-scale warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, and infrastructure developments across the United States and Canada. This role provides exposure to a wide variety of project types, delivery models, and procurement challenges, offering significant opportunities for professional growth and impact. Occasional travel to Siemens locations, project sites, and supplier meetings may be required.
We are looking for a Project Procurement Professional-Construction Projects, and this position will be based remotely in the United States. You'll make an impact by: As a Project Procurement Professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that drive cost efficiency, project success, supplier performance, compliance, and sustainability objectives. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, finance, legal, EHS, and external suppliers to deliver best-in-class procurement outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction, renovation, and expansion projects.
- Lead sourcing activities, competitive bidding processes, and supplier selection in compliance with Siemens procurement, governance, and EHS requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers, contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Analyze commercial proposals and develop award recommendations based on total cost of ownership, risk, and value creation.
- Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts, including Consulting Agreements, General Contractor Agreements, Construction Management Agreements, Master Purchase Agreements, and other project-related contracts.
- Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and benchmark assessments to identify cost-saving and process optimization opportunities.
- Utilize digital tools, data analytics, AI-enabled procurement solutions, and market intelligence to support sourcing and commercial decision-making.
- Monitor supply markets, contractor capacity, pricing trends, and supplier risks, implementing mitigation strategies together with project stakeholders.
- Lead commercial negotiations, change order management, and claims management activities.
- Support project governance by ensuring compliance with procurement policies, contractual requirements, and audit standards.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key contractors, consultants, and suppliers to improve supplier performance, innovation, and procurement efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, sustainability goals, digital transformation, and procurement best practices.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Supply Chain Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in construction procurement, project commercial management, construction management, or a comparable project environment.
- 5+ years of experience with supporting capital projects, construction projects, renovation programs, or industrial/technical facilities.
- 5+ years of experience in several of the following disciplines:
-Construction Procurement
-Project Management
-Construction Cost Management / Quantity Surveying
-Commercial Management
-Contract Management
-Project Engineering
-Supplier Relationship Management
- 5+ years of experience with construction delivery models such as Design-Build, GMP, and traditional bid-build environments.
- 5+ years of experience with SAP, or comparable ERP/procurement platforms.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for company sponsorship now or in the future.

- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively in cross-functional, matrix organizations.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital procurement platforms, e-sourcing tools, contract management solutions, and data analytics applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively contributing within a collaborative global team environment.
- Spanish, German and/or French language skills are considered a strong asset.

- The pay range for this position is $91,463-$156,794, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
