Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced C5ISR Project Manager to join our diverse team of professionals and subject matter experts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing challenging technical requirements for the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and Family of Special Operations Vehicles (FOSOV). The successful candidate will lead project teams to design, procure, fabricate, integrate, test, and evaluate C5ISR systems. You will work closely with senior leadership, customers, and business unit departments to ensure projects meet customer requirements and are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Defines the objectives and strategies for the programs and underlying projects with alignment to customer and contractual requirements.
- Facilitates the timely planning of the program consistent with program/project requirements and objectives.
- Conducts regular program and project reviews with senior leadership and customers to monitor performance and quality standards.
- Leads project teams to include engineering, finance, project analysts, contracts, subcontracts, and production.
- Interact with business unit departments to plan and identify workforce requirements and coordinate scheduling.
- Develop Program and Project plans to include Work Breakdown Structures, Statements of Work, Cost Estimates, Schedules, Risk Registers, Master Equipment Lists / Bill of Materials, and other project artifacts as required.
- Manages programs / projects from the initial planning phase through program/project completion.
- Interfaces and coordinates with customers, sponsors, and end users to provide the necessary program status and obtain customer feedback.
- Monitors program / projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
- Directs the work activities of assigned subordinate employees. Conducts performance appraisals, schedules resource availability and assignments, and develops career developments plans for subordinate employees.
- Ensure projects are executed within safety, export, and security standards.
- Resolves and communicates program / project issues, as appropriate.
This position is located in Spring Lake, NC. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Spring Lake or surrounding areas.
Required Skills and EducationBachelor's Degree in Program Management, Business-related, or Engineering field of study
8 years of experience with C5ISR platforms, systems, and subsystems, including project management
Advanced problem solving and organizational skills
Must be able to demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, leadership, and advanced problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written at all levels within the company and within the customer community.
Ability to initiate, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) and Project Management Information Tools (Jira, Confluence)
Preferred Skills and EducationDoD acquisition processes, including DFARS, FAR, and JCIDS/SOFCIDS procedures
Familiarity with military and DoD customer organizations
Experience with FOSOV and NSW Next Generation Radio systems
Request for Proposal (RFP) and contract experience
Technical project management experience
Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification or hands-on experience with SCRUM methodologies
