About the Role

The Integrated Supply Chain CPMO Team is looking for a Project Manager. As we manage through the demand for continuous improvement, implementing new processes, tools, and ways of working across Gore, project management capabilities are a critical success factor. The Gore Medical Supply Chain function's CPMO consists of project and change managers that support the execution of work across supply chain functions and end-to-end processes that align to our annual and strategic priorities.

This position will be located at our facility in Phoenix or Flagstaff, Arizona, Elkton Maryland, or Sunnyvale California, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Pay and Benefits:

  • $120,000 - $155,000 per year
  • Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of multiple high-impact projects and/or large-scale programs simultaneously, leveraging the Supply Chain PM Standard Work to oversee planning, execution, governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and orchestrate integrated program schedules across numerous interconnected workstreams, ensuring alignment of dependencies, resources, milestones, and decision points to achieve program objectives.
  • Leveraging technical knowledge and subject matter experts to partner with leadership, project teams and stakeholders in defining scope, resourcing needs, estimates and execution strategies.
  • Align stakeholders on milestones, delivery schedule, issue resolution, costs; and project outcomes; this may also include the development and implementation of coordinated communication and/or change management plans.
  • Facilitates key project decisions and ensure decisions, actions and outcomes are appropriately documented and communicated.
  • Drive the identification of project and benefit metrics to assess project health, performance and achievement of desired outcomes.
  • Monitor off track actions and critical path activities and proactively identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate risks, issues, resource constraints and decisions that may impact project delivery.
  • Utilize daily management practices to drive resolution to off track tasks and critical path activities ensuring visibility, problem solving and escalation that ensures on time delivery of work.
  • Engage actively with the CPMO team to share best practices, leverage organizational knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management standards, tools, and methodologies. This includes mentoring other team members and sponsoring individuals within Gore in project management.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related technical discipline; equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering role (Quality, Process, Industrial, or other), or Supply Chain function (procurement, planning, finished goods, commercial operations, etc.)
  • Minimum of 5 years of project/program experience; Experience applying project management tools in a regulated or quality focused environment.
  • Proficient in software tools that advance project management methodologies - MS Project, MindJet, Jira, Excel and/or MS Planner.
  • Proven ability to plan strategically and engage tactically to both develop the plan and work hands-on to implement the plan
  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop project plans and project delivery strategies for complex projects and/or multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and effectively influence Associates without direct organizational authority both one on one and in a team setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including sharing complex information with a broad range of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, dynamic and ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%


Desired Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional, PMP, or equivalent project management certifications.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Solid understanding of change management methodologies and impact on project execution in a regulated environment


This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore's work arrangement policies.
