Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Department: Civil/Municipal

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Saratoga Springs

Reporting To: Donald Rhodes

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 / year

Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of municipal water and wastewater projects from planning and design through construction
  • Serve as the primary technical and client contact on assigned projects
  • Prepare and oversee engineering reports, design calculations, specifications, and cost estimates for water supply, treatment and distribution and for wastewater treatment and collection projects
  • Coordinate compliance with NYSDOH, DEC, and EFC requirements, along with grant and funding programs such as GIGP, DWSRF, CDBG, and USDA
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop project engineers and design staff assigned to your projects
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and contracts, including construction administration


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State
  • 10+ years of experience in municipal water and wastewater engineering, including 8+ years of direct project management responsibility Working knowledge of water and wastewater system regulations, grant programs, and NYS municipal procurement requirements
  • Experience preparing and managing grant-funded infrastructure projects

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
