OverviewV2X Mobile Sensors Management Office (MSMO) is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to assist the Program Management Team in performance of the day-to-day program execution and associated activities. This role will work at the program office located on Patrick Space Force Base, FL facilitating collaboration with the Key Subcontractors, Customer Team and Functional Support team members (Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Subcontracts). The PM will manage our sustainment efforts in handling the radar platform ensuring personnel or hardware requests meet our program dictated timeline.
ResponsibilitiesV2X Mobile Sensors performs Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for a ship based mobile platform with complex multi-mission radar/communication systems which have an elaborate command & control computing structure, along with communication interfaces and support sub-systems. Our program ensures the COBRA KING (CK) radar and communication systems are fully mission capable, and able to support mission operations in a dynamic environment.
This position will be required to conduct both domestic and international travel. ~10-15%
Key Responsibilities:
- Key Team Member: Responsible for proposing and overseeing the Subcontractor efforts, which include leading stakeholders with proposals and the development of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) requirements.
- Monitor Progress: track subcontractor deliverables, daily progress, and repair turnaround times against agreed-upon baselines to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Obsolescence & Maintenance: Assist project managers in coordinating post-production support, depot-level repairs, and long-term sustainment workflows
- Liaison Duties: Act as the primary point of contact between radar engineering teams and third-party subcontractors, facilitating technical data exchanges and resolving daily coordination issues. Ensure coordination and cooperation with other Customer Team members is a program priority ensuring success in meeting the Customer's strategic and tactical objectives.
- Documentation & Compliance: Manage subcontracts, review contractor submittals, process invoices, and ensure that all vendor documentation meets federal, defense, and internal quality standards.
- Readiness Reporting: Track system availability, hardware/software upgrades, and parts provisioning, providing actionable status reports to stakeholders
- Strategic thinking: Conduct implementation management and control procedures that afford early recognition of problem areas, expeditious reporting of problems, and collaborative skills to help facilitate resolutions.
Duties:- Participate and/or provide productive input toward various program initiatives to improve the performance of the contract/team.
- Ensure compliance with any applicable Customer requirements and/or sustainment review milestones.
- Remain cognizant of the day-to-day tactical issues, ensuring the Mobile Sensor team is proactively achieving all performance measures.
- Responsible for the creation, coordination, and delivery of SDRLS and/or CDRLs, including detailed status reports, hosting the Monthly program Integrated Product Team (IPTs), EAC reviews, financial reports, etc.

QualificationsEducation Requirements: - Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or 8-10 years' experience in lieu of education
Required Skills: - 5 years of Project Management experience
Prior experience working with subcontractor contracts and execution - Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Leadership experience for a geographically diverse team
- Leadership and mentoring experience with proven results
- Current U.S. Passport with minimum of 1 year prior to expiration and 3 blank pages
- Active SECRET clearance
Desired Skills: - Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Strategy
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with radar system terminology, depot operations, and logistics.
