Full Job Description
Who You Are:

The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, coordination, quality oversight, and delivery of a national geospatial data-production effort supporting port and waterway geospatial dataset development. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience managing complex geospatial production projects, coordinating with Government or enterprise stakeholders, maintaining project schedules, resolving production risks, and ensuring that all deliverables meet contractual, technical, and quality requirements.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including schedule development, task sequencing, staffing coordination, progress tracking, risk management, and delivery oversight.
  • Coordinate source data review, inventory crosswalk development, pilot dataset approval, national production, quality assurance, validation, and final publication-ready delivery.
  • Serve as the primary management interface with Government stakeholders, the COR, technical reviewers, and internal production staff to ensure timely decision-making, issue resolution, and alignment with approved methodology and scope.

What You'll Bring:
  • At least five years of experience managing geospatial data-production projects of comparable complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience with schedule management, quality control, risk management, stakeholder coordination, technical deliverable review, and production documentation.
  • Experience supporting Government, maritime, infrastructure, emergency management, transportation, environmental, or enterprise geospatial programs is preferred.
  • Highly organized, technically conversant in geospatial production workflows, and comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams through complex source-data ambiguity, Government adjudication, and incremental delivery cycles.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into executable work plans, maintain accountability across production teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
  • Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
  • Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $50.48/hr - $64.90/hr
