Responsibilities
Direct utility engineering and coordination projects for transportation services
Oversee preparation of existing SUE and utility plans
Conduct QA/QC reviews of field data and deliverables
Lead meetings, prepare agreements, and review design plans
Coordinate utility relocation plans in compliance with laws and regulations
Resolve utility conflicts promptly to meet project deadlines
Engage directly with clients and utility owners during the process
Represent BGE in public and client meetings as needed.

Full Job Description
This person can be based in any of the following BGE Texas locations: Austin, Round Rock, San Antonio, Halletsville.
Job Responsibilities
Direct responsibility for utility Engineering and utility coordination/ engineering projects for transportation services.
Overseeing the preparation of existing SUE and other utility plans.
Providing quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews of field data and deliverables.
Conduct meetings, prepare agreements and/or cost estimates, review design plans, specifications and other submittals.
Coordinates and reviews utility relocation plans to comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Identifies and resolves utility conflicts in a time-sensitive manner to meet project deadlines.
Coordinates directly with clients and utility owners.
Represents BGE at public meetings and client meetings, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
Registered PE in Texas.
4+ years of experience working with SUE, Utility Coordination/ Utility Engineering projects.
Demonstrated ability to supervise subordinates performing subsurface utility engineering, utility coordination, utility engineering, and utility construction monitoring and verification.
Strong computer skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with MicroStation, Geopak, AutoCAD, OpenRoads, and other relevant engineering software.
Willingness and ability to be based in one of these offices in Texas: Austin, Round Rock, San Antonio, or Halletsville.
