Full Job Description
Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Northern California team based in Roseville. This individual will lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout with a strong focus on ground up commercial, industrial, and tilt up construction. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong financial, operational, and client management skills who thrives in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and schedules
  • Oversee project financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, billings, and change management
  • Lead owner, architect, consultant, and subcontractor meetings
  • Review and manage contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Coordinate subcontractor buyout and procurement activities
  • Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality expectations
  • Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards throughout construction
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty coordination
  • Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers as needed
What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Manager experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Proven experience managing ground up commercial construction projects
  • Industrial and tilt up construction experience strongly preferred
  • Experience managing projects valued from approximately $10 million to $100 million
  • Strong knowledge of project financial management, scheduling, contracts, and risk management
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, subcontractors, and owners
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
