Qualifications

• Experience leading customer-facing and new product development programs
• Knowledge of defense contracting and industrial product processes
• Adaptability to modify project processes to suit various complexities
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Certifications like PMP, Lean, Agile, are advantageous
• Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time

Responsibilities

• Own major customer programs from kickoff to delivery, managing scope, cost, schedule, and performance
• Interact with leadership to set direction and ensure execution of high-value projects
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, and quality
• Engage directly with customers to manage expectations and satisfaction
• Apply suitable project management methodologies: Waterfall, Lean, Agile, or hybrid
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and risks, providing timely updates to stakeholders
• Support proposal development and capture efforts for new business opportunities
• Ensure compliance with defense and industrial standards and regulations
