Full Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects of small to medium size and complexity, following standardized Telligen project management processes. You will oversee all project related disciplines required for the successful and timely completion of the project. You will assist other project management personnel with project administration, reporting, etc. You will develop effective relationships with internal and external customers.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in office per week in our Chicago area location.

The Illinois Tailored Care Management Program helps individuals with complex health and social needs transition from nursing facilities and Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facilities (SMHRFs) to community-based living. Through person-centered care management and coordinated support services, the program empowers members to live more independently and thrive in their communities.

What You'll Do:

  • Develops, finalizes and manages the timeline, budget, security plans and monitors the process for projects
  • Manages the scope of projects to ensure they are completed in an accurate and timely manner according to the customer's and Company's requirements
  • Performs actual to plan comparison on the project, identifies any deviation from the project baseline and requests timeline extensions and/or additional monies
  • Ensures projects are meeting internal quality control standards and that internal quality control reports are prepared
  • Provides support and assistance to management and project managers, including but not limited to project administration, metrics, reporting, views, resource allocation and access rights
  • Manages customer's expectations regarding projects and works with the customer to turn ideas into future business opportunities
  • Oversees all project related disciplines required for the successful and timely completion of the project
  • Provides input regarding project management processes and assists in preparing cost and technical proposals


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Four-year degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business or related field, and/or equivalent training and/or experience
  • 3-5 years' experience managing projects using a formal project management methodology
  • Because of the nature and immediacy of the work, the ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance is essential
  • Positions working on specific contracts may require U.S. Citizenship
  • This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in office per week in our Chicago area location.


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with project portfolio tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, SharePoint, and Jira
  • Experience with CMMI or similar SDLC methodologies
  • Experience with AI-assisted PM and workflow tools such as Copilot, Power Automate, and Agentic Agents
