Description

Project Manager:

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and closing of industrial service projects. This role requires a highly organized, skilled, and proactive professional who can lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the industrial services sector, a deep understanding of project management principles, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Project Manager Job Duties:
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges proactively.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including field personnel and sub-contractors.
  • Monitor project progress, performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with the project plan.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial performance.
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, from initial mobilization to final completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Effectively communicate project details, changes, and potential issues to all stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
  • Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all project activities are performed in strict adherence to company safety policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings.
  • Ensure all necessary permits, certifications, and documentation are in place.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to secure necessary resources, equipment, and materials.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
  • Facilitate project closeout activities, including final reporting, documentation, and client sing-off.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future project delivery.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 7+ years' of experience in industrial services or a similar industry.
  • 3+ years' of experience managing projects and/or teams.
  • OSHA 30-Hour and Hazwoper 40-Hour preferred.


Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times
  • The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds
  • Must be able to frequently climb stairs and ladders
  • May occasionally deal with heights
  • Ability to wear Personal Equipment, including Respiratory Protection
  • Consists of both office setting and physical jobsite
  • Able to work in confined spaces when needed
