About the role
We are looking for a Project Manager – Tailings to lead the planning and delivery of capital projects supporting tailings expansion and operational readiness.

Reporting to the relevant leader and working within a diverse and collaborative project team, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of tailings capital projects, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, cost, and risk
- Partner with plant and operational stakeholders to identify priorities and define value-driven project scopes
- Support decision-making through accurate cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments
- Ensure safety is integrated into all project phases, from design through execution
- Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring performance, compliance, and effective delivery
- Monitor project performance and drive continuous improvement across cost, schedule, and risk outcomes
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Where youll be working
Our Kennecott mine is a world-class, fully integrated copper mining operation, including a concentrator, smelter, and refinery, located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States. We produce copper, precious metals including gold and silver, molybdenum, and sulfuric acid. Kennecott has been mining and processing minerals from the rich ore body of the Bingham Canyon Mine since 1903 and is one of the top producing mines in the world, comprising approximately 11 percent of U.S. annual copper production.
