Software Program: Project, Project Online, and Synergis Adept ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Organize the entire project from order placement by customer through the installation and implementation phase: Schedule sub-contractors, work with material-handling equipment manufacturers and freight companies. * On occasion solicit and receive bids from designated vendors; on occasion select vendors based on company criteria. * Establish and manage relationships with customers and suppliers. * Obtain customer approval for project plans * Should be proficient with project management software ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Interact with sales personnel, engineers and customers as required to ensure necessary coordination and good communications. * Process approved project change orders. * Make periodic site visits to review project progress and report to management as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience 3-5 years experience as a Project Manager for material handling system provider, or closely related field General * Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment * Excellent time-management and phone skills * Problem solving * Quality focus * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong and ethical performance history * Ability to earn client trust with outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills * Desire and dedication for a long-term professional career * Willingness to travel nationwide (possibly international) up to 75% Language & Communication Skills * Ability to read and interpret customer communications, spec reports, and common documents. * Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, or members of the business community. * Ability to develop and make presentations virtually or in person that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to customers, top management and peers.
