Job Description

As a Project Manager, Supply Chain, you will manage high profile supply chain projects and business initiatives related to shipping and warehousing for ISI and its partners. The position manages internal and external cross-functional teams, including a major 3PL subcontractor, ensuring timely and safe delivery of all shipments-from small materials to program critical oversized equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects to the required scope, cost and schedule including performance management of internal and external stakeholder reviews.
  • Develop and formalize the VMI programs, including policies, SOPs, and implementation roadmaps, and define success criteria, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance metrics for the VMI program.
  • Develop complex business cases including preparation for VP level presentations and customer meetings.
  • Manage a team to ensure safe, timely, and effective transportation of materials from suppliers to ship production including controlled goods/UKOS across all programs.
  • Develop and manage related enterprise risk and change management strategies.
  • Develop key performance indicators and utilize the data to enhance team and supplier performance
  • Support other supply chain functions to deliver on zero lates and zero defects.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline (e.g. Business, Finance, Engineering)
  • 5-7 years of Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Inventory Management experience
  • PMP Designation required; RMP Designation an asset but not required
  • Professional knowledge of Supply Chain Management
  • Working knowledge of Financial Management
  • Professional knowledge of complex industrial environments and/or Defence industry
  • Demonstrated experience of managing a business-critical subcontracts, including the ability to manage scope, cost and time.
