Project Manager must have at least 5 years of experience in commercial construction in the Bay Area Region, with a significant project background and an excellent reputation. This position works closely with our Estimators, Project Engineers and Superintendents to complete build-outs within budget and to the highest quality.
Responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Responsible for the ultimate delivery of a project, which includes costs, schedule, client management, and profitability
- Serve as daily point-of-contact for client and design partners, to ensure satisfaction throughout the project.
- Manage administrative requirements and organization of multiple construction projects with support from Project Engineer
- Collaborate with General Superintendent and Project Superintendents in managing construction timeline and progress
- Review project billings and approve all subcontractor/vendor invoices
- Maintain organized project binders and digital job files
- Assemble, distribute, and track document packages throughout the life of a project
- Responsible for project closeout process
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Vast project experience, including office tenant improvements, R+D facilities, tech, clean rooms, labs, medical, retail, restaurant, and automotive projects
- Knowledgeable in building foundations, structural framing, mechanical, engineering, and plumbing systems
- Ability to organize and track multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiar working in Class A, occupied buildings
- Good reputation with subcontractors, past clients, and other industry professionals
- Demonstrates motivational leadership style
- Eye for quality of workmanship, holding a high standard of craftsmanship, accountability and overall project success
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills

- Experience using project management software, knowledge of Autodesk or Procore is preferred

Education & Certifications
- OSHA 30 preferred
- OSHA 10 Required
- LEED Green Associate accreditation preferred
- AA or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Compensation
Base Salary Depends on experience. Range: $100,000-$150,000
This is a full-time salary position; the compensation package will include both a health benefits and a retirement plan.
