The Structural Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing self-performed structural construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to CW Matthews' quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage all phases of structural construction projects, from preconstruction through final completion
- Oversee self-performed structural work including scheduling, labor planning, equipment, and materials
- Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost controls, and forecasts
- Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Track project progress and prepare regular reports for leadership
- Assist with change management, RFIs, submittals, and documentation
Qualifications: - 3-8 years of experience managing self-performed structural construction projects
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of structural construction means and methods
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and field operations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
