Dewberry is currently seeking a Project Manager/Stormwater Design Engineer in our Charlotte or Raleigh NC office. This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a team of outstanding professionals.  This position offers tremendous potential for professional growth in a great working environment and the opportunity to apply the latest technology to help our clients solve their most challenging problems. Typical projects involve hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater mitigation, stormwater design, storm water master plans, mitigation planning, surface water assessment, and storm water quality in order to assist federal, state and local clients. The Project Manager will also participate in the development of proposals, lead business development, present at conferences, participate in professional oArganizations, and will have the opportunity to grow nationally.

 

Required Skills & Required Experience
  • B.S. or MS Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or related engineering field), with emphasis in water resources.
  • 5+ years’ water resources-related experience
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships in a Project Manager role.
  • Candidate should be able to perform engineering analysis; develop preliminary and detailed designs of stormwater facilities; and write specifications and construction documents.
  • Experience with flood studies and CLOMR/LOMRs is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics.
  • Knowledge/experience with ESRI Arc GIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic MS Office software.
  • P.E. certification a plus.
  • Team player.
