INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST I - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION / IT PROJECTS & PROCUREMENT SECTION / SACRAMENTO, CA

The reporting location for this position is the Information Technology Division in Sacramento, CA. This position will work under the direction of the Information Technology Manager II.

The Information Technology Specialist I performs all functions in the role of project manager over complex information technology projects. Depending on the project needs, the role of the project manager may vary between providing overall project management and providing project oversight including consulting at the conceptual stages. The Information Technology Specialist I will typically be responsible for concurrent management and oversight of multiple projects.

The ITS I also serves as an assistant PM for the NextGen R2S2 maintenance and operations functions and enhancements.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position is designated as telework eligible- office centered.
