What YOU will do: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall execution and success of assigned aircraft maintenance projects. Success is measured by delivering projects on time, within budget, incident free, and in accordance with customer and company expectations.
In This Role, You Will:- Lead aircraft maintenance projects and ensure successful completion on time, on budget, incident free, and to quality standards.
- Create detailed project plans identifying activities, resources, and schedules necessary for project success.
- Coordinate maintenance staff and resources to support project execution and customer commitments.
- Monitor project progress and revise plans as required to achieve milestones and delivery objectives.
- Review schedules with management and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Ensure assigned personnel are qualified to perform work on customer programs.
- Direct workflow across departments to maintain efficient operations.
- Monitor labor hours and task completion performance.
- Interface with customer representatives and conduct project status meetings.
- Manage overtime usage, staffing resources, and project budgets.
- Support customer satisfaction and escalate concerns when necessary.
What YOU need:- Two years of college or trade school preferred.
- Minimum five years of commercial aircraft maintenance experience.
- Minimum two years of lead or supervisory experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, customer service, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.
