The Opportunity

Our Integrity & Maintenance Project Execution team is responsible for delivering projects that maintain the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of our existing pipeline and facility assets across North America.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver maintenance and integrity projects with moderate complexity and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. This role is accountable for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects that preserve asset integrity, reduce operational risk, support regulatory compliance, and enhance system reliability across our North American footprint.


The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Integrity Management, Regulatory, Environmental, Supply Chain, and Construction Management teams to safely deliver projects while meeting cost, schedule, quality, and governance expectations. This role will require frequent travel to various job sites and stakeholder locations in Canada and the United States.


What You'll Do

  • Manage the full lifecycle execution of maintenance and integrity projects from initiation through to closeout.
  • Manage projects involving pipeline repairs, integrity dig programs, facility upgrades, anomaly remediation, damage prevention initiatives, reliability improvements, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Develop project execution plans, cost estimates, schedules, risk registers, and execution strategies, aligned with South Bows Project Delivery Process.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to safely deliver projects while minimizing impacts to ongoing operations.
  • Manage contract development, procurement strategies, bidding activities, contractor selection, and contractor performance.
  • Ensure project activities comply with company requirements, industry Codes and Standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Identify and manage project risks through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide leadership throughout project execution, including oversight of construction management, inspection, commissioning, and project controls activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Operations and Integrity teams to align project priorities with asset needs.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, forecasts, and performance updates to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or another related technical or business discipline.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and directly related experience will be considered. Candidates with significant relevant project delivery experience may be considered in lieu of formal post-secondary education.
  • 6+ years of experience managing infrastructure, maintenance, integrity, operations support, construction, or industrial projects.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, contractors, and operational interfaces.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and contractor execution.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline, facilities, maintenance, integrity, or industrial operations environments.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or other relevant professional accreditation.
  • Experience supporting pipeline integrity management programs.
  • Experience working within regulated pipeline, energy, utility, or industrial infrastructure environments.
  • Knowledge of construction management, commissioning, inspection, quality management, and asset integrity programs.
