The Project Manager / Engineer will play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and ensuring the successful delivery of projects in natural gas, LNG, renewables, hydrogen, and related technologies. You will liaise with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, manage project schedules and budgets, support design development and equipment selection, and ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and engineering standards.

Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end project delivery from concept through execution and close-out, with full accountability for scope, schedule, budget, risk, and contractual alignment
- Act as the central liaison between project management, engineering, and multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and delivery across all project phases
- Coordinate project activities, schedules, and deliverables, setting clear objectives to drive productivity, quality, and cost performance across the design team
- Provide technical leadership by guiding engineering teams and ensuring high-quality, compliant design deliverables, including P&IDs, equipment sizing, and design packages, aligned with client specifications and Canadian codes and standards
- Support project planning through estimating, budgeting, and technical reviews, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with project objectives
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to interpret technical requirements, resolve design and execution challenges, and deliver integrated solutions
- Monitor and coordinate procurement activities to ensure materials and equipment meet specifications and are delivered in line with project schedules
- Lead and participate in design and safety reviews (HAZOP/PHA), ensuring technical integrity, regulatory compliance, and adherence to HSE requirements
- Drive execution by aligning engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and maintaining project momentum
- Support field execution through site inspections, commissioning, and final facility reviews, ensuring safe, reliable, and operable outcomes; may review, sign, and stamp engineering deliverables as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to design standards, cost efficiency, maintainability, and project execution practices
Qualifications: - Degree in Engineering or Applied Science; P.Eng. designation (EGBC preferred).
- Preference for Applicants with US PE License (Any State)
- 5+ years of experience in Natural Gas, Renewables, or LNG sectors is required.
- Experience in an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) environment and familiarity with applicable provincial and federal regulations, codes, and standards.
- Preference for experience with centrifugal compression, gas turbines, and LNG systems; field or site experience is an asset.
- Proven ability in a lead role on multidiscipline projects and/or multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with a project gate process and change management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate conditions and make sound technical decisions.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and coordinate small multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding and application of engineering codes and standards.
- Applicants without a degree or P.Eng. may be considered with 8+ years of relevant experience in packaged equipment fabrication management, field construction/turnaround management, or facility operations.

CompensationThe salary for this role is based on an average of 37.5 hours a week. The estimated range is between $110,000 - $135,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.
