Responsibilities
The Transversal Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in the execution of various strategic and transversal projects at the CP&S ITO Department Level
Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Project planning and forecasting of schedule and budget ensuring an on-time and on-budget management and delivery of programs
• Be able to drive all aspects of program delivery including people, process, and technology for all phases of the project life cycle
• Employ and reinforce a disciplined program and change delivery methodology, complying with industry and internal leading practices and controls
• Hands-on management of program execution including deliverable and presentation creation to support the programs within the perimeter
• Effectively monitor and manage risks, issues, and actions of the program including timely mitigation and communication
• Partner with groups within CP&S ITO and BNPP CIB Americas to ensure programs are effectively/efficiently delivered, dependencies are managed, and change events are communicated and adopted successfully
• Partner with business and functions sponsors for Program Communication
• Effectively and Efficiently be able to build executive level project presentation
• Independently lead project related meetings and working sessions
• Represent CP&S ITO Senior Management in key meetings and discussions on project topics
Qualifications:
Minimum:
• 10+ years of experience in a Project and Change Management organization
• 7+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry (preferably in a CIB organization)
• 5+ years of experience leading large scale programs or projects involving multiple departments
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study.Masters degree a plus.
• Knowledge of SDLC or Program Delivery methodology and best practices in an ITO environment
• Effective critical thinking, analytical assessment, and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills for all levels.Candidate will be required to prepare documents for and lead various steering committees
• Ability to work both independently and within a team framework and to motivate colleagues in order to manage programs most effectively
• Strong proficiency in all MS Office and Project management tools (including Project, CLARITY, etc.)
Preferred
• Functional knowledge of Corporate Banking and Payments Processing
• Familiarity with Technology and Infrastructure related topics
• Experience working within a Big 4 Consulting Company or equivalent is a plus
• PMP certification highly preferred.Six sigma certification a plus (LEAN or similar.)
