Job Responsibilities - Manage Phase 4 Modernization implementation activities ensuring successful installation, testing, cutover, and System Acceptance of modernized Base Area Network infrastructure
- Coordinate installation teams, schedules, and resources across all modernization activities
- Ensure execution aligns with PMO-approved System Planning, Requirements, Implementation Plan (SPRIP) and 18-month modernization timeline
- Manage Preliminary Integration Reviews (PIR) and Critical Integration Reviews (CIR) with Government stakeholders and base organizations
- Coordinate Integration Plan Acceptance processes ensuring timely Government approvals
- Manage Network Integration Lab operations and Qualification Testing activities
- Coordinates installation schedules, Authorized Service Interruptions, and base coordination requirements
- Manages equipment procurement, delivery, and logistics
- Oversee OSP fiber optic installations and ISP infrastructure deployments
- Coordinate with base Civil Engineering for AF Forms 332, 813, and 103 approvals
- Manage cutover planning and execution minimizing operational impacts
- Lead System Acceptance Testing coordination and documentation
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, information technology, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of program/project management experience in network infrastructure implementation or telecommunications deployment.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability obtain an interim Secret clearance
- PMP certification preferred
- Willing to travel CONUS up to 25%
