Basic FunctionThe Project Manager, Site Development position will be the local site development lead for the gas generation project supporting the PORTS-Pike Technology Campus The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of project development for the gas generation projects powering the campus. The position will collaborate with the Data Center Construction, Development, Land & Real Estate, Community Development, Permitting, Engineering, and Capital Markets teams.
Responsibilities- Project manage development-phase deliverables including cross-functional land, permitting, interconnection, engineering, and financing workstreams
- Lead on-the-ground project development activities.
- Support the Project Development Regional Director through all aspects of project development including:
- Securing site control, mineral surface waivers, easements, right-of-ways, and title;
- Securing wetlands delineations, project permits
- Engaging local project stakeholders
- Prepare presentation materials and timely reports on project development status for senior management
- Support the negotiation of critical project agreements
- Review contracts including interconnection agreements, PPA's, EPC contracts etc. and track deadlines for internal project deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal team and external consultant(s) to evaluate the project site, project design, project schedule, and execution strategies.
- Support the Projects Director in developing and tracking project budgets, schedules, and forecast management, including coordinating project prioritization.
- Interface with local project stakeholders on development items
- Manage task orders in support of the Powered Land Projects team.
Qualifications/Requirements- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field
- A strong drive to shape and deliver transformative, large-scale infrastructure
- Demonstrated tenacity and problem-solving skills
- 4+ years of experience in project development, project management, environmental/permitting or related field, land acquisition or related field.
- Experience in the energy or data center industry preferred but not required.
- Some knowledge of environmental regulations, governmental rules and market trends that impact the project development Ohio.
- Strong desire to learn and leverage existing experience to support the Development function for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience with MS Office (word, excel), MS Project, and PowerPoint.
- Expert communication, analytical, and organization skills.
- Strong sense of ownership over individual contributions and team success.
Location: Ohio or Northern Kentucky preferred.On-site at the PORTS-Pike Technology Campus in Piketon, OH.
Travel: The position requires up to 25% domestic travel.
Base Pay - $140,000-$165,000
The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks-while ensuring internal parity across our teams.
