Description

Job Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee the development of construction drawings for commercial development projects, minimizing impacts and maximizing site usage. As a PM you will provide oversight on projects while mentoring upcoming team members.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing projects and plan development for multi-family, commercial/retail, industrial, and other types of projects.
  • Responsible for concept development and participate in the design analyses, independently evaluating, selecting, and applying engineering assessment for potential tracts.
  • Able to attend and conduct meetings successfully with clients, team members, and reviewing agencies with minimal assistance.
  • Build relationships with clients, community leaders and government officials.
  • Be a subject matter expert and trusted resource to our clients at the project level.
  • Execute client project requirements to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Manage the work of CAD Drafters/Designers and Engineers to ensure accurate and quality plan production.
  • Oversee and mentor the development of staff within their project team.


Knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Attention To Detail- Job requires being careful and thorough about detail in completing work tasks.
  • Complex Problem Solving- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Engineering and Technology- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of company services.
  • Dependability- Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.


Education, certification and experience:
  • 6+ years of related experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the state of Texas.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid TX Driver's License and ability to operate a motor vehicle may be requested.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Solid working knowledge of Civil 3D/AutoCAD software.
