Job Description

The Project Manager will lead and execute strategic initiatives to enhance the Barshop Institute's visibility, community engagement, clinical trial recruitment efforts, and donor development. This role blends marketing, outreach, fundraising support, and project management to build a strong, recognizable brand while fostering meaningful relationships with the community, potential research participants, and prospective donors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage Barshop Institute's social media platforms, including content planning, posting, and performance tracking.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow online presence and engagement across multiple outlets.
  • Plan and execute community outreach initiatives to increase awareness of Barshop's mission and research/clinical opportunities.
  • Design and lead marketing campaigns focused on clinical trial participant recruitment.
  • Identify, research, and engage potential donors, sponsors, and philanthropic partners to support the Institute's mission.
  • Assist in developing donor outreach strategies, presentations, and engagement materials.
  • Build and strengthen the Barshop brand through consistent messaging, storytelling, and public-facing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, researchers, and external partners to align messaging and outreach efforts.
  • Analyze marketing and outreach performance metrics to optimize campaigns and improve results.
  • Coordinate events, partnerships, and public engagements to expand community reach and donor engagement.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and goals are met.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
