Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ecology, natural resources, environmental engineering, or related field (MS preferred) with 7-10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in client development and business growth in environmental consulting.
• Thorough understanding of federal and state environmental permitting requirements (e.g., CWA Section 404/401) and NEPA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in technical report writing and proposal creation.
• Valid driver's license with willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Flexible travel schedule based on project and business development needs.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage natural resources and environmental permitting projects focusing on technical excellence and client satisfaction.
• Develop and execute project plans, budgets, schedules, and deliverables in alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Coordinate field assessments, sampling programs, and reporting for natural resource assessments.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, regulators, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify new business opportunities and prepare proposals while leading presentations to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Ensure a strong commitment to health and safety protocols in all project phases.
