Position Location: This role supports our Rancho Cordova, CA branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Sacramento, CA area.
The
Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of assigned projects. This position ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
As a Project Manager, you will:- Have fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Be responsible for delivery of results for the respective process steps.
- Guide technical or administrative staff.
- Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement plan.
- Perform active role in maintaining functionally focused client relationships.
- Be responsible for several small projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent.
- Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs.
- Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
- Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.
- Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.
- Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
- Track resources and projects progress.
- Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.
- Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
- Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager.
- Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provides commissioning documentation.
- Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.
- Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
- Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements.
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while delivering exceptional support and service to customers and stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software.
- Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Must be able to demonstrate:
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Ability to lead project meetings, maintain project documentation, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in the Siemens fleet vehicle program.
- Ability to travel to customer sites and attend project meetings as required.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical experience in the commercial security access/CCTV industry
- 1+ years of experience managing projects
- PMP certification or other project management certification preferred.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and customer relationships.

The pay range for this position is $75,684 - $129,744 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
