A Day in the LifeA typical day in the life of a Project Manager/Scrum Master may include:
- Leading Agile delivery across one or more teams (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives).
- Partnering with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to define priorities, scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Building and maintaining delivery plans, including infrastructure, security, or networking initiatives.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external vendors or managed service providers on timelines and dependencies.
- Tracking progress using Agile and project metrics (e.g., sprint goals, velocity, delivery health).
- Identifying and resolving risks, dependencies, and impediments - including those across systems and third parties.
- Communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to the PMO and stakeholders.
- Ensuring alignment with governance, regulatory, and security requirements.
- Maintaining clear project documentation and promoting built in quality.
- Adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Supporting a collaborative, high performing team environment and continuous improvement.
Who You Are- You have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
- You have a PMP, CPM, CSM, SAFe, or similar certification preferred.
- You have 5+ years of experience in project management or Agile delivery.
- You have 2+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience.
- You have experience supporting infrastructure, security, or networking initiatives.
- You have experience working with vendors and/or managed service providers.
- You have strong understanding of Agile principles and delivery practices.
- You are skilled in managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- You are comfortable balancing Agile delivery with PMO and governance expectations.
- You are proficient with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
- You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including with technical teams and external partners.
- You can translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans.
- You are organized, adaptable, and able to work independently.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
Compensation$90,000-- $120,000 Annually. Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
