Full Job Description
Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a customer-facing Execution Project Manager. In this role, you will be accountable for managing customer project orders of moderate size and complexity. This includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing of customer projects. Documentation, communication, and customer facing skills are critical to this position.

This is a hybrid position. You must be within 40 miles of the locations listed and able to report to the office up to three days a week.

What will you do?
  • Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and closeout, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and contract specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA), while driving successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage project scope, change orders, documentation, schedules, milestones, and integrated project plans to maintain on-time and on-budget performance.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budget tracking, forecasting, cost control, invoice approval, and margin optimization.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions to support successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, engineering resources, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
  • Lead commissioning, testing, installation quality, and turnover activities, ensuring complete project documentation and successful handoff.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, providing regular project updates, facilitating stakeholder communication, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Support project activities through site visits, up to 50% travel, and on-site leadership during critical project phases, including commissioning, energization, and planned outages.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5+ years of relevant project management experience leading technical projects
  • Must have experience leading Data Center Construction projects
  • Strong commercial acumen (contracts, T&C's, scope of work, and change orders),
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Smartsheet, MS Office, and MS Project (or other schedule management software)
