Housley Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects involving water, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure. The Project Manager ensures that all projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management:
  • Manage all phases of underground utility construction projects from pre-construction to close-out.
  • Provide critical input to the Construction Manager to assist in scheduling and coordinating field activities.
  • Handle multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Act as a direct point of contact with customers and document interactions accurately and professionally.
  • Serve as a liaison with construction management regarding subcontractors, invoice submittals, accuracy of data, and daily field reporting.
  • Maintain strong communication with utility companies, inspectors, and municipal agencies.
  • Prepare and track project budgets and forecasts.
  • Independently prepare and manage complex project invoicing with no supervision.
  • Approve and track project invoices, change orders, and purchase orders.
  • Monitor material usage and manage inventory to ensure accurate material utilization tracking.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction project management, specifically in underground utilities.
  • Proven ability to handle complex projects, multitask effectively, and work independently.
