Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficient in design software like Microstation, Open Roads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Strong grasp of civil engineering principles and roadway design standards.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex engineering issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear technical presentations.
• Collaborative and adaptable team player with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the planning, design, and implementation of municipal roadway projects.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
• Provide technical expertise in roadway design including geometric and pavement design.
• Serve as the primary contact for municipal clients, ensuring exceptional service and communication.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff to foster collaboration.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal standards throughout project execution.
