ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEssential functions of this position include overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and budgets. Coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, monitor schedules, and present status reports. Conduct field inspections, supervise pile driving, and inspect mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for compliance. Provide technical guidance, review submissions, and resolve issues. Liaise with our Client and other agencies, facilitating communication and resolving conflicts, as well as all other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field;
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in heavy construction and electrical systems, with demonstrated experience working on NYC Parks projects.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong analytical skills;
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency with in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to utilize any project-related software;
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to the project site.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is frequently required to assume a stationary position, handle, inspect, and/or feel documents, materials and/or equipment relevant to the job and communicate about same. The employee will also need to process manual and/or computer generated reports, and will be required to communicate via the Corporate e-mail and telephone systems. They are also occasionally be required to move around on the job-site, including ascending or descending on the landscape or on a ladder, and positioning themselves appropriately to access necessary testing materials and equipment; they are sometimes required to do so in hazardous conditions, such as in rain or snow. The employee must regularly lift and/or move equipment and materials up to 25 lbs. This position may require sometimes operating a motor-vehicle, which may require assuming a stationary position for extended periods of time.

The offered pay may be outside of the provided salary range based upon the selected candidate's work location, experience, education, certifications, and capabilities compared to the advertised position.
Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000
Pay Range: $140,000 - $160,000 per year
