Full Job Description
Description: Planning, coordinating, and managing any property cap ex projects from inception to completion, ensuing that projects remain on schedule and on budget.
Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Owners Representation: Act as the dedicated representative of the project throughout all phases of the project. Oversee capital projects from start to finish while ensuring that construction activities move according to predetermined schedules.
    • Oversee project planning & development, design oversight, procurement strategy, budget & cost control, scheduling and milestones and construction oversight.
  2. Monitoring the progress of the activities on a regular basis and holding status meetings with all parties.
  3. Performing a key role in project oversight, coordination, planning, budgeting and scheduling of projects, design teams, contractors, government agencies, and others.
  4. Communicating effectively with parties responsible for completing various phases of the project including architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  5. Performing thorough, periodic inspections of construction sites:
  6. Writing requests for proposals and managing project budgets and cost reporting
  7. Ensuring effective contract administration including review, management, and monitoring of contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and cost forecasts. Negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements and ensuring performance of contracted responsibilities.
  8. Assist in reporting & oversight & budget accuracy.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned to support the efficient and effective operation of the department
  10. Oversee project completion, testing, commissioning and handover procedures. Ensure all punch list items are resolved, systems are fully operational, and end users are trained and supported.
Requirements:
  • Ability to travel domestically a majority of the time to visit the different project sites
  • Hospitality development and construction experience preferred
  • Degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture a plus
