To succeed in this role, you must be a registered PE and have 10+ years of environmental work experience, ranging from site characterization through remedial implementation and site closure.
Your new roleAs our new Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will join our global Environmental Health and Safety team that supports clients with a wide range of complex and challenging environmental issues.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate with and support interdisciplinary engineering design teams to develop and implement multi-discipline solutions for soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor remediation projects, using in-situ and ex-situ technologies
- Participates in project scoping, costing, proposal preparation, and client presentations
- Establishes work procedures/sequences and develops schedules, budgets, staffing requirements, and vendor/subcontractor lists
- Significant role or independently manages proposal preparation related to service lines/spearheads, sectors, key accounts and/or growth initiatives
- Preparation of contract/design drawings, specifications, and bid documents for environmental remediation projects
- Plan, design, and manage/execute fieldwork to support remedial designs (e.g., sampling of soil, sediment, groundwater, and vapor, and quality assurance activities for remedial construction)
- Review and analyze the cost and cost control progress, financial and other site-generated data to evaluate project status and compliance

These include:
- BS or MS in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering degree
- 10+ years environmental experience, ranging from site characterization through remedial implementation and site closure
- Registered professional engineer (PE) in one or more states is required
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations and programs
- This position encompasses both office work (technical design, project/task management, data analysis, and report preparation) as well as fieldwork

Salary TransparencyAt Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $151,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
