Full Job Description

You will own total execution for a fast-paced book of aftermarket pump repair and maintenance projects. Operating right on the shop floor where the repairs are physically taking place, you will act as the master tracker and single point of contact connecting heavy industrial end-users (primarily Oil & Gas and Power Generation) with our local engineering, machining, and service teams. If you thrive under pressure, possess elite organizational skills, and love seeing mechanical components built and restored from the ground up, this seat is for you.

Core Responsibilities

  • Total Shop Floor Execution: Take end-to-end ownership of fast-moving, high-variance aftermarket pump repair projects from the moment a unit arrives at the facility to final delivery.

  • On-Site Command: Work full-time on-site directly within the shop environment, maintaining continuous communication with shop floor supervisors, mechanics, and machinists to unblock delivery constraints.

  • High-Volume Tracking: Manage an intense, fluid matrix of multiple concurrent repair projects requiring flawless status tracking, milestone management, and document control.

  • Emergency Response & Customer Interface: Act as the primary technical and commercial contact for plant reliability managers and procurement teams. Drive immediate turnaround strategies when critical customer infrastructure goes offline unexpectedly.

  • Flawless Documentation: Masterfully navigate and optimize project status trackers, change orders, cost expectations, and communication logs using a heavy mix of system tracking, spreadsheets, and emails.

Requirements & True Qualifications

  • Grit & Mental Resilience: Proven capability to withstand the high-intensity rigors and urgent turnarounds of an industrial Quick Response Center (QRC). (e.g., managing sudden holiday weekend emergency repair requests when a customer's plant is down).

  • Industrial Domain Expertise: Prior experience working around heavy rotating equipment, industrial pumps, mechanical seals, or high-pressure fluid systems is highly preferred. Familiarity with API / API 610 standards is a massive advantage.

  • Execution Over Academy: We value real-world execution and the ability to navigate shop floor friction over academic theories. Formal certifications (like the PMP) have been intentionally omitted—we want to see your track record of delivering physical projects under tight deadlines.

  • Elite Trackers: Exceptional organizational habits with deep proficiency in utilizing spreadsheets and detailed email tracking to keep highly complex, multi-component projects on timeline.

  • Education: BS or BA degree in a relevant field paired with 3-5+ years of industrial project management experience, OR an equivalent baseline of 8-10+ years of direct shop operations, planning, or field service management experience.

The pay range for this role is $99,758.46 - $149,759.65 per year.
