Full Job Description
Procon Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager based in Orlando, FL to support the planning, design, and construction of complex commercial and public-sector capital improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale, high-occupancy public facilities such as civic, hospitality, entertainment, sports, exhibition, or similar complex vertical construction projects.

As an owner's representative, you will collaborate with clients, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to successfully deliver projects from planning through closeout while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.


  • 7+ years of construction project management experience.


  • Experience managing large public assembly facilities, hospitality venues, entertainment venues, sports facilities, civic buildings, airports, or other complex commercial projects is highly preferred.


  • Previous experience serving as an owner's representative, construction manager, or program management consultant is preferred.


  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.


  • Experience managing occupied renovations, capital improvement programs, or large-scale vertical construction projects.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Primavera P6, Procore, or similar project management software is a plus.


  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.


  • CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certification.


  • Experience managing projects valued at $25M+.


  • Experience working on municipal, public-sector, or institutional capital projects.
