Project Manager

Position Summary
A Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned commercial plumbing projects-from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage multiple commercial plumbing projects simultaneously
  • Monitor job progress and ensure proper staffing levels
  • Review blueprints, specifications, and project scope to determine costs
  • Develop and manage project budgets; track labor, material, and equipment costs
  • Negotiate material pricing with vendors and subcontractors
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Attend customer meetings and act as primary project liaison
  • Conduct regular job site visits and inspections
  • Coordinate and lead pre- and post-job meetings
  • Ensure all permits, bonds, and certificates of insurance are obtained
  • Manage and document change orders; obtain client approval prior to execution
  • Schedule inspections and ensure compliance with all requirements
  • Maintain thorough and accurate project documentation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project management role, preferably in commercial plumbing or HVAC.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
  • Strong understanding of construction cost tracking and budgeting
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and project management software
  • Ability to perform standard construction-related calculations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to problem-solver and anticipate challenges
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, direct, and motivate teams
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable
PREFERRED:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience managing healthcare, industrial, institutional, hospitality, and commercial construction projects.

Compensation

Annual Salary - $90,000+ based on experience, qualifications, and skills demonstrated.
