Full Job Description
Are you passionate about leading complex projects and delivering innovative power systems controls solutions? We're seeking a Project Manager - Power Systems Controls to drive the successful execution of controls and power management projects from award through completion. In this role, you'll be esponsible for project performance, partnering closely with sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless project transitions and exceptional customer service. You'll establish and manage project cost, quality, and schedule objectives while leading cross-functional teams to deliver integrated control and power management solutions in the areas of system design, programming, installation, start up, maintenance, repair, training and modification of automated control systems and power management systems. This is a remote role with approximately 10% travel.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
• Plan, establish, maintain, and regularly update a project schedule for assigned projects
• Coordinate with Team Leaders to assign engineering resources and provide performance feedback
• Monitor, control, forecast, and report costs on assigned projects within estimated project margin
• Manage engineering response to customer emergencies and warranty issues
• Establish and manage contracts between Eaton and its customers & suppliers
• Review customer specifications and bid documents, and issue change orders when necessary
• Technical coordination between internal team members, Eaton factories, third-party suppliers, and customers
• Document control and distribution to customers and suppliers

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution with minimum 5 years of project management or project engineering experience OR minimum 10 years of field service, project management and/or proposal generation experience with electrical power distribution systems and high school diploma
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience with electrical power distribution systems, equipment, installation, and field services

Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
• PMP certified
• Minimum 5 years experience with the implementation of automatic transfer schemes

Position Criteria:
• Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings.
• Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton's safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter.
• Expertise and experience with all project management competencies, including Microsoft Project
• Basic understanding of power distribution systems, equipment, and automatic transfer schemes
• Experience with factory testing and field start-ups
• Experience developing technical proposals according to customer and internal requirements
