Project Manager

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The Commercialization Project Manager's primary role is to lead the execution of projects for branded and private label products through the Pilgrim's/JBS stage gate process. This person acts cross functionally to drive on time and on budget product launches critical to the business success of the company. This role bridges the gap between new product development (R&D, Packaging, Regulatory, Creative, Brand Marketing, and Category Marketing) and Operations (Supply Chain and Production Plants), ensuring successful commercial deployment across different functions and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development and execution of commercialization projects from concept to market launch
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Pilgrim's/JBS Stage Gate Process
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to delivery
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, communication plans, timelines, risk trackers, and lessons learned for projects
  • Track project milestones and KPIs, providing regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, Packaging, Regulatory, Creative, Brand Marketing, Category Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain
  • Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure alignment on commercialization objectives
  • Identify and communicate risks and issues with appropriate teams while providing recommended solutions
  • Help continuously improve the commercialization processes and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Project Management, business, marketing, or similar experience preferred. Project Management certification is a strongly preferred.
  • 3-7 years of experience. Experience in Project Management, food manufacturing, and/or consumer packaged goods manufacturing industry is required.
  • PM certification (PMP or other relevant certification) is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products. Must be confident, a strong problem solver, and work well under pressure.
  • Must have proven interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to engage with individuals across different levels of the organization and exercise sound judgement.
  • Ability to be resourceful, insightful and possess strong analytical skills, strong project management skills, ability to build and maintain strong business relationships, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a desire to work hard, have fun, and embrace accountability.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $90,000 - $105,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and

The posted salary range represents the Company's good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, tenure, internal equity, market data, and may vary accordingly.
