Full Job Description
Role:
By emphasizing ONE Park, ONE Mission, One Team, the Project Manager contributes to the improvement and advancement of organizational initiatives through the implementation of credit union projects. This role ensures work quality and timely project delivery contributing directly to overall credit union goals and objectives. This role further ensures the implementation of the project life cycle from conception to production to meet the organizational goals and mission.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Manage implementation of assigned projects. Implementation includes identifying interdepartmental resources and stakeholders, working with appropriate individuals to identify project objectives and requirements, outlining the work/tasks involved in projects and delegate/manage accordingly, developing timelines that includes milestones, host necessary project discovery, sync, and closure meetings, Act as a liaison between vendors, internal resources, and stakeholders, and manage project within scope and parameters defined. Keep managers and key stakeholders informed of project status as well as any issues that may arise that would hinder the success or completion of a project.
  • Make revisions in Symitar and other systems as needed for the purpose of configuration and user management during the lifecycle of a project.
  • Work with Compliance personnel to ensure appropriate rules and regulations are followed and processes are in place to minimize CU risk with any new products/processes implemented.
  • Make suggestions for improvement to processes that may increase productivity, improve efficiency, mitigate risk to the credit union, etc. .
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

4. To keep an open line of communication with the project owner and participants to identify any potential problems; keep manager informed of project advancement, issues, etc.
5. To attain individual goals and assist in achieving branch and organizational goals.
6. To follow the credit union's Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures, including running OFAC searches, completing investigative reports of suspicious activity and currency transaction reports timely and without error.
7. To maintain a professional work environment, promote teamwork, build respect among coworkers and present a businesslike appearance.
8. To follow all security policies and procedures and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to manager immediately.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
Interpersonal Skills Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
Other Skills

1. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification required.
2. Extensive Symitar Core System expertise is essential.
3. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; able to handle multiple priorities.
4. Possesses strong problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to lead team discussion, delegate tasks, assess feedback, etc.
6. Proven ability to use computer applications including spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, email, and database software.

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and on occasion lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range: $42.21 - $43.52 per hour
