About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team!
General responsibilities for the position:

Technical Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management support and task management on projects.
  • Prepare reports, figures, drawings, specifications, and other deliverables.
  • Provide detailed engineering calculations.
  • Perform field work, data collection/analysis, and documentation for stormwater projects.
  • Coordinate with teammates on projects to ensure proper and timely execution.
  • Assist upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.


Managerial Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all staff necessary to complete assignments.
  • Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
  • Lead client project coordination.
  • Contribute to the company's business development efforts (e.g., develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners).
  • Prepare proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs.
  • Review others' work to ensure quality control, completeness, and accuracy of team deliverables.
  • Show up for your colleagues and positively contribute to the team's culture, learning, and growth.


Communication Skills:
  • Possesses advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Represents the organization in communications and conferences pertaining to broad aspects of engineering assignments.

About You
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field (required)
  • A Washington State PE license (or can obtain one within six months)
  • 8+ years of experience in design, planning, and implementation of water resource and civil engineering projects.
  • Increasing responsibility in project management, including scoping, client communication, invoicing, and managing the work of others.
  • Proficiently qualified to review the work of others.
  • Enthusiasm for civil engineering, learning, and creative thinking/problem solving.
  • Knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations that inform design.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS, AutoCAD SSA, SWMM, HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, and StormShed3G (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of and experience with Washington State stormwater design and requirements (preferred).
  • Active participation in industry organizations (preferred).


Location

Seattle, Vancouver, or Bellevue, WA (Hybrid, 1-3 days in office each week)

The expected compensation range for this position for employees based in the Bellevue/Seattle area is $96,000-$124,000 and is dependent upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
