Available Location: Milton, GA

Hybrid Working: Team members are expected to come into the Milton, GA office as needed, based on business requirements and team collaboration needs. There is no fixed minimum number of in-office days; instead, attendance will be determined by project demands, meetings, and manager guidance.

What You'll Do:

As the Project Manager - Operational Readiness, you will own the end-to-end process for planning, creating, reviewing, approving, and publishing customer-facing and internal content related to new software feature releases, product enhancements, bug fixes, and maintenance updates. You will ensure release communications are accurate, timely, consistent, and easy for customers, support teams, sales teams, implementation teams, and other stakeholders to understand. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Vice President of Business Processes.

  • Manage the release content lifecycle for new features, enhancements, fixes, and platform updates from intake through publication.


  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Support, Training, Marketing, and Customer Success to gather release details, clarify customer impact, and confirm technical accuracy.


  • Ensure release notes, customer notifications, help center updates, internal enablement summaries, support talking points, and training-ready content are delivered on time and to a high standard.


  • Develop and enforce a repeatable content intake, review, approval, and publishing process aligned to the software release calendar.


  • Coordinate review cycles with subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, compliant, and delivered on schedule.


  • Maintain a centralized release content repository, including version history, templates, stakeholder ownership, publication dates, and status tracking.


  • Ensure Knowledge Base content creators have identified content gaps before release and proactively escalate risks that could affect customer readiness or internal team preparedness.


  • Continuously improve release content processes, templates, governance, and reporting to increase speed, consistency, and stakeholder confidence.


Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of experience in product operations, release communications, technical writing, content operations, product marketing, customer enablement, or a related software/SaaS role


  • Strong understanding of software release cycles, including feature releases, maintenance updates, bug fixes, hotfixes, and release readiness activities


  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical information into clear, concise content for both technical and non-technical audiences


  • Excellent project management, organization, and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple releases and deadlines simultaneously


  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and comfort working with Product, Engineering, QA, Support, Training, and customer-facing teams


  • High attention to detail, especially around accuracy, terminology, versioning, dates, dependencies, and customer impact


  • Experience using collaboration and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Productboard, Zendesk, Salesforce Knowledge, or similar platforms


  • Experience supporting SaaS products, enterprise software, or multi-product release environments, preferred


  • Familiarity with Agile software development, sprint planning, release trains, change management, or product launch processes, preferred


  • Experience building scalable content workflows, governance models, templates, or stakeholder review processes, preferred


  • Background in customer support enablement, knowledge management, product documentation, or product marketing communications, preferred


  • Ability to analyze content performance, stakeholder feedback, and release readiness metrics to improve future communications, preferred


Physical Considerations:

  • Ability to work in a general office environment


  • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone


Travel Considerations:

  • Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 10%
