Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Field Services Project Manager to lead upstream field service projects supporting wellhead, production, completions, and related oilfield operations. This position is responsible for managing projects from initial planning through field execution and closeout, with full ownership of safety, scheduling, resources, costs, and client communication.

The ideal candidate has a strong background working for an oilfield service company, contractor, or field service organization and has successfully managed multiple crews, equipment, and projects in a fast-paced upstream environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who understands field operations and can effectively coordinate people and resources while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple upstream oilfield service projects from kickoff through completion.
  • Develop project schedules, execution plans, labor requirements, equipment needs, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate field operations involving wellhead services, valve work, torque and testing services, production support, completions, and related activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, field supervisors, operations teams, vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate field crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet changing operational requirements.
  • Monitor project costs, labor utilization, equipment usage, schedules, and overall project performance.
  • Ensure projects meet established safety, quality, schedule, budget, and customer requirements.
  • Identify operational risks, resolve field issues, and minimize delays and equipment downtime.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable oilfield safety regulations.
  • Provide regular project updates regarding schedules, costs, field performance, risks, and upcoming operational needs.
  • Prepare project reports, financial documentation, and closeout materials for management and customers.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and respond quickly to changing customer and field requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, project execution, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of project management experience within the oil and gas industry.
  • Direct experience managing upstream oilfield field service projects.
  • Experience with wellhead, production, completions, valve services, torque and testing, or similar upstream operations.
  • Previous experience working for an oilfield service company, contractor, or field service organization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects, field crews, equipment, schedules, and budgets.
  • Strong understanding of upstream oilfield operations, field equipment, workflows, and industry safety practices.
  • Proven experience coordinating labor, equipment, vendors, subcontractors, and other field resources.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation.
  • Strong financial awareness with experience tracking project costs, labor utilization, and operational performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing field conditions and operational priorities.
  • Direct ownership of project execution from planning through completion is required. Project coordination or administrative support experience alone will not be considered.
  • Ability to work on-site in Williston, North Dakota and support field operations as required.
