Nuclear Project Manager

We are looking for a Nuclear Project Manager to joining our Farris team!

The Project Engineer supports the planning, design, testing, and implementation of hardware and software engineering solutions, contributing to project execution, production readiness, system optimization, and customer satisfaction. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, provides technical guidance, and ensures that products and systems meet engineering standards, cost targets, and performance requirements.

LOCATION:

Brecksville, OH - Onsite

Salary rate: $95,000-$118,000

YOUR CHALLENGE:
  • Support design, analysis, and feasibility evaluation by interpreting technical drawings, reviewing customer specifications, and determining required system components or modifications (25%).
  • Develop and coordinate production and fabrication activities, including manufacturing method selection, performance requirements, and documentation that supports product development and lifecycle needs (20%).
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting by designing test apparatus, performing failure investigations, and recommending corrective measures to ensure operational reliability (20%).
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair activities to verify proper system function, ensure compliance with engineering specifications, and maintain equipment readiness (20%).
  • Track project schedules, costs, and risks while preparing bids, contract documents, and reports that support effective project execution and cross-functional communication (15%).


WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • 4-6+ years of engineering experience involving design, analysis, testing, or system implementation
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation
  • Experience coordinating production, fabrication, installation, and system maintenance activities
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in hardware or software system environments
  • Ability to manage project schedules, cost tracking, and basic contract or bid preparation
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and customer-facing teams
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, technical accuracy, and supporting junior team members
