Location: Columbus, Ohio (hybrid role)
In-office: 3 days per week - collaborate, connect, and make an impact
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Determine and define project scope and objectives, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project team members.
- Manage project documentation, including project scope, schedules, budgets, and meeting minutes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, work plans, and budgets, and track progress against milestones and objectives.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prepare a budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. Track project costs in order to meet budget.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular updates and reports on project status.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Monitor project performance and quality standards and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure project success.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, motivating team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Conduct post-project reviews and evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required skills/ Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or equivalent project management-related experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of project management or proven related experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively and creatively.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring that project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changes and challenges in project scope, requirements, or constraints.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and project management software and tools, such as SharePoint and Microsoft Project, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.
- Understanding of information technology procedures and practices.
- Ability to motivate diverse groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project objectives.
